Gerald single-mindedly nurtured the growth of the company to the forefront of Malaysian media specialization. His pioneering efforts led to Zenith Media’s entry into Asia – ahead of such market points as Hong Kong, Tokyo or Singapore.

At the Advanced Management Program conducted by Bates Advertising Worldwide in France in 1992, Gerald left his mark as the top performer of the program.

Gerald’s continuous efforts keep Zenith (now rebranded Invictus Blue) at the forefront of media innovation in Malaysia.

David Soo

David has over 20 years’ experience in the marketing communications field across a wide spectrum of international and local brands. This makes him one of the most accomplished advertising professionals in the country.

He was previously the Managing Director of Saatchi & Saatchi Arachnid.

David is an ardent motoring fan and enjoys morning drives along trunk roads to discover new foodie hangouts with his family.

Abhishek has more than 10 years’ experience in digital strategy and performance across a range of global and local brands. Prior to Invictus Blue, he was the Chief Digital Officer for the IPG Mediabrands Group.

In his digital journey, he has handled clients across multiple sectors from FMCG to telco, airlines to financial institutions.

He believes in data-enabled storytelling, and professes that ‘digital by design’ is the only survival mantra for the future.

A driving enthusiast, Abhishek likes to take to the road when he needs to seek ideas and inspiration.

Shahril Tan Sri Hamzah

Shahril graduated from the prestigious St Martin’s Central School of Art and Design in London. He then worked for the renowned art and design company Siegel and Gale before returning home.

In Malaysia, he was attached to many top agencies working on numerous brands both multinationals and Malaysian MNCs. He has been behind many successful award winning campaigns over the years.

Shahril is Creative Strategist at Invictus Blue Group.

Loh Mei Kuen

Mei Kuen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and has over 20 years of experience in the media industry.

She has worked on a cross section of International and Malaysian clients.

Mei Kuen currently oversees operations across all our various business units and she is a key member of the senior management team.

Before joining INVICTUSBLUE he was the Managing Director for Vizeum Media Services in Malaysia. In last decade Chinar has handled communication strategy & brand strategy for several big brands most notably Nokia, Johnson & Johnson, Friesland Campaina, CIMB winning several awards at various global, regional & local award shows. Currently, Chinar leads the strategy mandate for InvictusBlue Group by providing a strong insights based platform & innovative thinking and ideation to meet the ever changing marketing & consumer landscape. With a voracious appetite for books and movies, Chinar is always looking for that next insight to spark something new and exciting.

Alex Hooi is the latest addition to Invictusbluegroup’s arsenal of digital products. He has over 8 years of experience in the field of digitalisation and his key prowess is the ability to integrate data in ways that are cutting edge. His previous clients included Malaysia’s top telco providers and also leading ecommerce enablers. In his own words, “In the movie Matrix, Neo begins by seeing the digital world as 1 and 0s. With the help of Morpheus, he was able to see a unique world made solely from data. And that is what I would like to achieve, by helping clients see the unlimited potential behind this ever forward digital world.”
Leong Sook Leng

Leng has over 18 years experience in direct marketing, graphic design, advertising and branding. She began her career as a creative on brands under British American Tobacco. Her passion for advertising and building brands put her on the fast-track to lead brands like Sunway Lagoon Resort, Malaysia Airlines, BRDB and CIMB. Leng’s accolades over the years include the Cannes Lion, AdFest, DMAM, and a host of Effectiveness Awards. In addition, she was an integral part of teams that were responsible for the successes in a number of agency pitches, including wins in the Telco, FMCG and Retail industries. To date, her experience spans across brands such as Maxis, Hotlink, UMobile, Digi and Watsons.
